Chillin

It is such a virtual groundhog's day here sometimes. You could switch the
name of the day with the outfits I'm wearing and the stuff I do at work
and it would hardly ever change.

I don't think this is really how I'll end up though. I can't sit in this
cube day after day for the next 40 years until I retire. The thought of
that is actually comical. There are just too many things that I'm
interested in and too many obstacles that I want to conquer.

Life is very amazing and grandeur at the same time. It is sometimes
intimidating how much knowledge there is out there to try and obtain. I
spend so many hours researching random subjects.

Mike is coming into town this weekend and we have plans to go out and also
just relax by the pool. I hope to get out to San Diego to see his new
place later on this year with Angie. We are about 6 weeks from our road
trip and we are excited.

100

We just got back from a trip to see Angie's Aunt turn 100 years old. It was my first time being around someone that has hit the century mark. It was amazing to see some of the old pictures and listen to the family talk about how things used to be.

In contrast, there was Angie's niece who just turned 1. To think of the things that she'll see as she gets into her 60s and 70s is really exciting. Our grasp of technology while impressive, is still pretty primitive. We have so much more to learn.

In life news, things are humming along nicely. Our house is so wonderful. Everyday we do something new to it. Whether it is replace bulbs or trim trees, we are always improving on it. I hope we can get some more rain to help boost the grass as the previous occupants didn't care much for their yard.

We have plans for the next 4-5 weekends which always makes for fun times and great pictures.
