It's time

I’m really nervous about putting this out in the public air, but I feel that if I don’t, I will never do it. The time has come for me to get back into shape. Until about 4 years ago I was in amazing shape. I was flexible, lean, and loved the way I felt. I’ve always loved my personality and humor, along with my intelligence and overactive brain, but the past two years have been full of laziness and overeating for me. All you have to do to see the change is look at my pictures on my website and see the difference.

So today, once and for all, after all the dieting and quick fixes, I am going to start getting back into the shape I was when I was 21. What’s the plan? Nothing crazy, nothing on TV, just the old fashioned way: Exercise and Smart Eating. I loved being in shape for baseball and need to reduce my caloric intake as I am not as active as I was during school.

So now you can all remind me of my quest and not let me mess up. This is something I really need to do for myself as it is one of the few areas of my life that is going the wrong direction.

Wish me luck LOL

Stuck Song

I consider myself a man, but at this moment I may not be.

I can’t get the Kelly Clarkson song “Since you’ve been gone” out of my head. I don’t own it, and won’t download it. For some reason it’s there. I think I actually hummed part of it as well.

I’m leaving work early to seek help.

I need help

For those of you who don’t know me very well, I do a lot of random things. It is very entertaining to those who spend time around me, but to complete strangers it can be downright weird. Here’s a couple of things I have done at work here that seem normal to me and would be normal to my friends but when looked at them from the outside in, are not right:

-        Made farting noises in the elevator as loud as I can. I had my eyes closed and did not realize I forgot to push the button so anyone standing outside of the elevator definitely heard me.

-        Made up a song about the urinal and sang it loudly in the bathroom, only to find someone was in the stall at the end. Needless to say I didn’t wash my hands and got out of their quickly.

-        Random flinches. When I get tired, I’ll flex all the muscles I have or do small convulsions to try and wake up. If you walked by my office and saw this, you would probably call 911.

-        Make faces at my monitor. Again, not interfering with anyone else, but if you walked by and saw someone making faces at their monitor like it was their 2 year old son, what would you think?

At least I’m having fun..

Bleach High

I’m an extremely clean person: A neat freak if you will. Last night I decided that I wanted to spray some bleach (non-diluted) into my shower to help break up some bacteria that were forming in the tiles. Apparently, I sprayed too much. At one point I remember my eyes burning and my head aching from inhaling so much bleach. I eventually got up and turned on the water to wash some of it down the drain.

Today I’ve seen little purple horses and elephants anywhere I look

New Ride

Thanks to my father's thinking and contact with a woman that I used to work with, I am now the proud owner of a second car. In addition to the Mustang, I am now driving a 96 Camry around town and for all my road trips. The Stang moves into a weekend/fun car and allows me to save the mileage on it. I really like the new Camry and it is getting more than twice the gas mileage as the Stang did. Everything works perfectly on it and there are no flaws.

Battling Zs

Why is it that you can pass 8 hours doing something you love so fast, but when you are at work it seriously feels like someone is freezing hours of time and only you are seeing it? I am bobbing my head like I just came off a night in college and am in a lecture class. I can’t stay awake. Several times I have just given up and closed my eyes. This lasts for about 3 minutes until my body flinches and I’m back to semi-consciousness. It’s a vicious cycle that only stops if I get up and do something meaningless like walk down the hallway.

I am ready to just lay down under my desk

Have mercy on the toilet

I took a picture of this well-fed woman the other day because a thought occured to me: How do people this size use the toilet? Anyone that could shed light on this subject would greatly add to my knowledge of plumbing. Thank you

Sick Day

I didnt sleep last night. I was coughing so much that I thought I seriously did some damage to my esophagus. Now I have a headache and dont want to go to work tomorrow but I have to.

This week is insane for me:

Tomorrow = Work and then Radio Show

Wednesday = Work and then possibly to Daytona for Alumni Meeting

Thursday = Work and then step-brother is coming into town

Friday = Work and then dinner with Step-Bro

Saturday = Spin at Alpha Bar in Orlando 1 am to close

Sunday = Sleep like a mofo

No wonder Im sick.

Back from Virginia

Beautiful land, total state IQ of 2.4

My Virginia business trip was fairly fun. I had some laughs and met some new people. I embellished on some pubic ridicule to those that thought they were cool, and generally didn’t get enough sleep to be cognizant during the daytime hours. The business part of the meeting was terribly boring. I found myself imagining things REALLY out there like planet sized skittles and living in the 1500s. The best part about it was meeting new people and getting free food.

The airplanes we flew on sucked. The airline was Independence Air. They are new, low-priced, and pretty good overall. The bad thing was they run a small 50 seat jet from Orlando to Washington DC. I felt like John Candy trying to get into a Roller Coaster Seat. It wasn’t fun. I am not sure if I passed out from the pure oxygen or lack of oxygen during the flight home.

I leave today for Ft Myers. It should be a fairly relaxing weekend as I desperately need sleep. As I type this I’m seeing little purple fairies buzzing the monitor and laughing at me.
