Luke & Pomade = Friends 'till the end

I don’t know why I haven’t used this stuff before. It holds my hair all day, doesn’t have buildup, feels like I have conditioner in it, smells awesome, and comes in a can smaller than my deodorant. I have a new friend and his name is Pomade

I do not like Frogs

I love almost everything except this planet. I love food, animals, pictures
of little babies, and even bobblehead dolls. I hate frogs. Tonight I met
what may well be the ending of me. There exists, a frog who is out to get
me. Silly you say, but tonight was episode 1 of our war and he won. After
seeing him in the garage, I:

- Sprayed him full blast with the hose. We have good water pressure in
Central Florida and he charged the stream. The nozzle was set on "line" and
was extremely powerful. Suspect Frog charged said stream to the point I had
to regroup for plan B.
- I tried to sweep him with a garage push broom. Suspect Frog jumped
the head of the broom and hopped directly at me. I'm not sure but I thought
I heard him laughing. After taking his picture I gave up. If he is out there
in the morning I may have to resort to more aggressive tactics.

Pomade Update

I am confused by this stuff. It does not harden my hair like gel, yet the smell from it is stronger than cologne. I have a citrus scent in mine and I almost feel like a big bottle of super orange bathroom cleaner walking around.

 

My hair feels like I have nothing in it yet, when I touch it and smell my fingers, it’s still strong like it is there.

 

I need pomade help I think.

Pomade

Obviously I don’t know how to use this crap. I didn’t put enough in my hair today and as a result I am in the early stages of getting spongey hair. At this time I am anti-pomade, but will continue to try and use it to see if I can master it.

Picture Test

Well I’m here at work. It’s about as exciting as watching bingo on TV with no sound. It rained last night for most of the night. I love sleeping when it rains. It seems most people do. Could it be that the rain noise is a nice distraction for our subconscious while we snooze? Could that be why most sleep with the TV on? I know it’s hard for me to get to sleep in silence, but I can’t sleep with anything on. Yep I know, hypocrite.

I have soup here for lunch but that is not exciting me. I would prefer to have large amounts of breadsticks and alfredo sauce catered in to my desk but that’s not going to happen. If I stay awake until 10 am it will be a significant accomplishment.

I really love doing my show on OGR. Even though sometimes I'm really tired or haven't picked out the newest music, it is always a great time. The listeners are so awesome. Our chat room has become an insanely active place.

This will be my third year doing the show and I can't imagine how different things would be if I didn't host the weekly set. Just last night, we had listeners from the west coast, east coast, United Kingdom, and Canada. On any given moment the station will have people from all over the world tuned in.

Anyways I love it =)

Mountain Dew

Whoever made this should be set on fire. The stuff is addicting. I know first hand. I tremble and speak in tongues whenever I see it, yet yearn for a gallon of it with some nice crushed ice. Diet MD is just not the same either.

 

Work today is decent. After some data issues (see previous blog), things are a little better now. Amazing how one of the largest defense companies on the planet has such amazing data issues.

 

Showtime tonight! I always have fun on the show.
